The main thrust of my argument, obviously, concerns the possibility of locating Atlantis - or at least its literary precursors. In order to further this endeavour, this section examines various details which appear in the Atlantis account and pores over their probably antecedents.
This section also furnishes an examination of various aspects of Atlantis as bequeathed by Plato and seeks to understand these concepts within the wider tradition of Greek mythology & legend.
